RUF groups from the state of Florida:  Florida State University, Jacksonville University, University of Central Florida, University of Florida, University of North Florida, and University of South Florida.  Last year there were about 200 people.

Friday evening through Sunday morning, October 7-9.  Check in starts on Friday at 6pm and ends at 8pm.  We'll leave after the morning worship services around noon on Sunday.  The conference will be held at the Florida Bible Camp, which is located in High Springs, FL, northwest of Gainesville. http://www.floridabiblecamp.org/Florida_Bible_Camp-_The_Official_Website/Welcome.html, 

JR Foster, RUF area coordinator and former campus minister will be speaking on "Encountering Jesus."  How does Jesus interact with different types of people in the Gospels?  What is it like for us to encounter Jesus?  What would we say to him?  What would he say to us?  

There will be lots of free time, and at the camp there is a pool, basketball courts, volleyball courts, sports fields, trails, and even canoeing further down the road.  Usually we have competitions for 3-3 basketball, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, and maybe other random games.  You can spend your time however you want (even studying, if you must). There will be lots of great people from your school and others, so have fun interacting.

Just click on the buttons below and fill out the information.  Cost is $50 for regular cabin lodging or just $40 if you would prefer tent camping.  We have space for about 150 in the cabins, and they are first come first serve.  So don't delay.  Cost goes up $10 after 9/22/11, if there are spaces left.  Financial assistance is available; talk to your campus minister for the discount codes.  Don't let the cost keep you from going.

Bible, notebook, Sleeping bag or sheets, Pillow, Towel and toiletries, clothes, snacks, etc.  Meals will be provided during the conference, but you are on your own for dinner Friday before the conference and Sunday lunch after the conference is over.
